SIX connection prerequisites:

• global internet connectivity, own AS number
• peering agreement with at least one SIX member
• connection to SIX computer room
• applicant is required to install layer-3 device (router/L3 switch) from recognized vendor (Cisco,Juniper, Foundry) in SIX premises
• if the above device is installed in shared SIX racks, maximum height is 3RU.
• for 10Gbps connections it's possible to connect to SIX backbone from remote locations via dark fibre or dedicated 10GE lambda; in such case a special addendum to SIX contract is required, specifying the technical solution in detail
